Kalusz was the name of a town in the Ukraine where many Jewish people were taken during the Holocaust and placed at the concentration camp called Belzig. Kalush is the English spelling.

I lived in Kalusz which was occupied by Germans during 1940-1944.
Out of a total Jewish populatrion of about 5.000, only about 20 Jews have survived.
I was liberated by the Russian Army in 1944.
I immigrated with my parents to the USA, after the War and never visited this area since.
